Antiques: A bonnet chest, an old print and a top hat

Q: This chest of drawers has been in our family since the 1950s.  It is a fairly soft wood (maybe butternut) with handmade double leaf-shaped pulls and hand-fitted drawers.  The top is a harder wood (probably not original) and the mirror was added on about 15 years ago.  The piece has been somewhat distressed over the years but is still a thing of beauty and utility.  Do you have any idea how old and valuable this chest might be?
