All charges stayed against Winchester man, ending epic legal saga

The Crown has stayed all criminal charges laid against a Winchester man in the course of a cold case investigation into unsolved homicides in Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. 
Crown attorney Jason Pilon announced earlier this week in a Morrisburg court that the case against James Henry “Jimmy” Wise has been withdrawn. 
He did not give any reasons for the decision and did not return calls from the Citizen.
