Mark Laroche cut his teeth in municipal government and federal land development, and when he came “home” to run Ottawa’s international airport, he knew very little about the business of flying. And he had no grand plan for Macdonald-Cartier.
“This was always home and there are not too many opportunities like this,” says Laroche, who grew up in Gatineau. “But I was not part of the industry and there was a little bit of a learning curve. I had to understand the
