Adam: If you're on planning committee, don't take developers' money

It is not clear why planning committee chair Jan Harder and some of her colleagues don’t understand that taking money from developers constitutes a conflict of interest. Reports by CBC that Harder and some committee members solicited and pocketed thousands of dollars from fundraisers organized by developers have raised concerns about the integrity of the planning system. And justifiably so. Ordinary citizens already believe the system is fixed, and behaviour like this not only adds to publ
