A free-trade deal with China needs clear, enforceable rules

As Prime Minister Trudeau visits China to discuss the possibility of a future bilateral free trade agreement (FTA), many Canadians are unsettled about closer ties with China. And for good reason. China’s compliance with existing trade agreements has been problematic.
