A Canada Games to remember for softball coach Scott Searle of Ottawa

The top athletes get the medals. The coaches soak in the experience.
And Scott Searle of Ottawa had an experience to remember at his first Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.
As an assistant coach with the Ontario men’s softball team, Searle watched the best 15 players in the province open the multi-sport festival with a 2-2 record before roaring to seven consecutive round-robin and playoff wins and a gold medal.
That gold was one of 35 for Ontario during the first of two weeks of Summer Game
