'A beautiful soul': Greg Ritchie, killed outside Elmvale mall, remembered

A photographer for the daily newspaper in Kitchener-Waterloo was walking along the Grand River back in 2009, when he ran into a young man with one feather in his hair.
Mathew McCarthy of the Record was doing a photo essay of the river through the seasons. He wrote that the man asked him: “Wanna take a picture of a native North American?”
