911 caller hurt in Orléans garage blaze

Firefighters were called in to tackle a fire in an attached garage on Richer Drive in Orléans Monday morning after the 911 caller reportedly suffered burns trying to douse the flames with an extinguisher.
Ottawa Fire Services got the call reporting ever-thicker smoke at 9:54 a.m.
The first Ottawa Fire Services crew at found heavy, black smoke coming from the garage which had a vehicle parked inside.
They launched a “rapid-fire attack” and searched the home for signs the flames
