911 caller helped save the day in St. Joseph Boulevard fire

A resident in a three-storey building in Orléans could have been critically injured if not for the swift action of a passerby, Ottawa Fire Services said Wednesday.
Around 1:25 p.m., Ottawa fire received a call from a passerby about visible smoke and the sound of a smoke alarm coming from the second-storey window of a residence in the area of 1940 St. Joseph Boulevard.
