'25 to 50 mm are possible': Rainfall warning in effect for Ottawa area

There’s a lot of rain on the way.
Environment Canada has issued a rain warning, forecasting that up to 50 mm could fall by Friday evening. The rain is expected to be heavy at times and the weather office is warning that the ground, still frozen in places, may not be able to absorb everything that falls.
