10-25 cm of snow? Weekend weather could bring a winter wallop

Are we skipping spring this year?
Environment Canada’s forecast is for some decidedly April-like showers to wind down the week and a wintry weekend snowstorm.
It’s still days away, but the rival Weather Network is predicting Ottawa will need umbrellas for 10 to 15 mm of rain Thursday and 5 to 10 mm Friday.
Then, the broadcaster warns, it’s  back to shoveling Saturday with 10 to 15 cm of snow. In their outlook, Sunday is even messier with about 10 cm of snow and 10 to 15 mm
