YVR set to announce $9.1 billion in expansion plans

Vancouver International Airport is set to release details about a $9.1-billion upgrade to the airport in Richmond.
YVR president Craig Richmond is scheduled to announce expansion plans at a news conference with the B.C. premier Thursday morning.
The $9.1 billion cost estimate, which takes inflation into consideration, will cover upgrades over a 20-year-span, including 75 projects. YVR’s president will expand on the nature of those projects at Thursday’s conference.
