Young B.C. boy attacked by cougars expected to recover

A Lake Cowichan boy who was mauled by two cougars Friday afternoon has been released from hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
“His injuries weren’t particularly threatening,” B.C. Conservation Insp. Ben York said Saturday. “It’s claw and puncture marks, bite marks on the back of the head, one of his arms and a little bit on the back of the neck.”
