Work to begin on Surrey highway overpass damaged by truck

Crews are set to being work on repairing the 152nd Street overpass, which was damaged last month when a truck travelling north on Highway 99 hit it.
According to a news release from the provincial Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the repairs will begin “in the coming weeks.”
Damaged girders will be replaced beginning in February. Further, the deck over the damaged area will be demolished and replaced.
Work is expected to continue until April.
