Winter storm to hit Metro Vancouver this weekend

It’s going to be a blustery weekend in Metro Vancouver, as a storm moves across the South Coast bringing heavy rain, wind, and even snow in some areas.
Environment Canada posted a special weather statement for the region on Saturday, saying there will be mixed precipitation in the area. That means there will likely be wet snow, or rain mixed with snow, on Saturday.
The federal weather agency says the slushy mix will likely change to to rain in the afternoon as freezing levels rise.
