Winter blast made Fort Langley's Historic Half even cooler for runners
FORT LANGLEY — It was easy to get a long hug here Sunday morning, even from sweet, spandex-clad strangers desperate to stay warm.
Thanks to an overnight “weather event” that brought snow, wind and c-c-c-c-chilly temperatures to the frigid Fraser Valley, the big bonfire inside Fort Langley National Historic Site warmed more buns before 9 a.m. than COBS and Canada Bread combined.
