Winds persists across Metro Vancouver before relief expected later

A wind warning for Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island continued Sunday morning, with strong winds tossing tree branches and forcing cancelled sailings.
Environment Canada continued its warning Sunday morning for Metro Vancouver – extending to Richmond, Delta, Surrey and Langley, Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster – as well as the North Shore. A wind warning was also issued for the Howe Sound.
