Wind warning ended for Metro Vancouver – but not without some damage

A wind warning for Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island ended Sunday afternoon, but not until after some damage had been done.
One person was reportedly injured in Port Moody after strong winds knocked a tree over, while a similar event was reported in Vancouver. No information was immediately available on either incident.
Elsewhere across the south coast, tree branches laid strewn across roadways, and some residents dealt with debris that had been blown onto or away from their property.
