White Rock must respond faster to information requests: Report

The City of White Rock takes too long to respond to access to information requests, according to a report from the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
The report, which was released on Thursday morning, found that in 2016 and 2017, White Rock failed to meet legislated time lines to respond to information requests in 46 per cent of sampled files. When late, the city took an average of 16 business days past the legislated time line to respond.
