West Vancouver mayor-elect Mary-Ann Booth confirmed after recount

District of West Vancouver mayor-elect Mary-Ann Booth has been confirmed as mayor after a recount of votes.
The recount was requested Monday after only 21 votes separated mayoral candidate Mark Sager and Booth.
A provincial judge ordered the recount after an application was filed by former mayor Michael Smith, who didn’t run for re-election, on behalf of the man he endorsed to replace him, lawyer Mark Sager.
The application was also filed on behalf of Jim Finkbeiner, who came 20 votes
