West Van councillor to propose alternative route for controversial B-Line bus

Strong public opposition to a new express bus plan has prompted a West Vancouver councillor to ask district staff to explore a different route.
Coun. Peter Lambur has filed a notice of motion, seconded by Coun. Bill Soprovich, that will be considered at a council meeting next month.
“It’s not a black or white, or take it or leave it issue,” said Lambur. “The notice of motion isn’t killing this project — it’s really a modification to the proposal.”
