WATCH: B.C. man saves a young elk tangled in barbed wire

Some heroes don’t wear capes — they carry wire cutters.
All hail Mitch Byle, whose quick work and steady hands saved the life of a young elk he found ensnared in a barbed wire fence Sunday near Princeton.
Byle and his wife Kate Bremner had just left Bremner’s parents’ house when they spotted the animal struggling on the side of the road.
