Vancouver Weather: Rainfall warning for B.C.'s south coast

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Jan. 2, 2019 –  Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Metro Vancouver and most of B.C.’s south coast.
An intense Pacific frontal system, moving southward from the central coast and towards Vancouver Island, is expected to bring rain to Metro Vancouver later this morning which will become heavy tonight.
The weather agency says rainfall amounts will vary from about 30 mm over southern sections to up to 80 mm near the mountains.
