Vancouver Weather: Heat warning still in effect, likely to continue through weekend

VANCOUVER, B.C. – The heat wave gripping Metro Vancouver is expected to continue through the weekend, with Sunday looking like it may be the hottest day of the year so far. Environment Canada has again posted a heat warning for Friday, as temperatures are set to hit 31 C inland, and 26 C closer to the water. Saturday looks the same, with more hot, dry and sunny weather, and then on Sunday temperatures are forecast to reach 33 C inland.
