Vancouver Sun Run turns 35 on Sunday
On Sunday, more than 40,000 folks of all ages, sex and size will join the million-plus from the past who make the Vancouver Sun Run a part of their spring ritual.
This year marks the 35th edition of the renown race, which began in 1985 with about 3,200 participants and has since had 1.1 million people take part.
Dr. Doug and Diane Clement could not have imagined the scope of the Sun Run today when they founded it as a source of revenue to help fund the Harry Jerome International Track Classic. (
