Vancouver startups help residents rent instead of buy

From power tools to pop-up movie theatres, and virtual-reality goggles, a new Vancouver startup aims to help Vancouverites stop buying stuff they don’t have room to store.
Roowsi has entered the item-rental marketplace, with an app and a website, hoping to capitalize on the lack of storage space in condos and a growing desire, especially among Millennials, to rent instead of buy.
The company offers among other things camping gear, kayaks, kids’ party supplies, VR gaming consoles and
