A Vancouver police officer remains on active duty after being charged Friday with assault causing bodily harm.
Const. Ken Stanworth will make his first court appearance on July 9, according to a news release from the B.C. Prosecution Service. The assault charge stems from an alleged on-duty incident that happened March 1, 2016, in downtown Vancouver.
