Vancouver Municipal Election 2018: Who's running?

The nominations for Vancouver’s municipal elections on Oct. 20 closed Friday with six contenders vying for mayor, 29 candidates for city councillors, 12 for the park board commissioner and nine for the school trustees.
Vancouver voters will elect a mayor and 10 councillors for Vancouver City Council, seven commissioners for the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation and nine school trustees for the Vancouver School Board.
