Vancouver man charged with murder in connection with 2011 shooting

A 25-year-old Vancouver man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a 2011 shooting death in Champlain Heights.
On July 25, 2011, Harpreet “Hapi” Sandhu, 21, was gunned down following an argument with a group of youths in the area of Arlington Street and Whitehorn Court in south Vancouver. He died in hospital.
Now, almost six years later, Vancouver Police Department detectives have made an arrest.
