Vancouver man acquitted in UBC sexual assault
A Vancouver man who was charged in connection with a terrifying sexual attack on three women on the UBC Endowment Lands has been acquitted.
Yuan Zhi Gao, 25, was charged with break-and-enter with the intent to commit sexual assault in relation to the April 2016 attack in a ground-floor apartment on Birney Avenue.
His co-accused, David Singh Tucker, 28, was charged with break-and-enter and three counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm but died later while in custody.
