Vancouver judge rules man acted in self-defence when he poured boiling water over roommate

A man who poured a pot of boiling water over a roommate in a kitchen dispute over three eggs has been found not guilty.
According to a ruling in B.C. provincial court, Judge Reginald Harris found Anbo Wang acted in self-defence when he poured the water over the head of Mr. Yang, who he had been living with “peacefully” for the previous year.
Court heard from Wang and Yang, who gave a different version of events from March 13, 2018.
