Vancouver jaywalker hit by bus on Reddit video 'extremely fortunate' to avoid injury

A jaywalker struck by a bus Wednesday in Vancouver suffered no injuries in the collision, Transit police said Friday.
Dashboard camera footage of the incident appeared on social media Thursday. It shows the jaywalker, a 28-year-old woman, walk out into the street, then begin to run when she is suddenly knocked to the ground by a bus crossing the intersection at Granville and Dunsmuir Street.She was “extremely fortunate” to avoid injury, said Transit police spokesperson Anne Drennan.
