Vancouver Island pit bull to be euthanized after ‘atrocious’ bites

A pit bull that bit four people in a Colwood home will be euthanized.
The 100 pound pit bull-mastiff mix has a history of being passed between owners, which is a concern, said Don Brown, the Capital Regional District’s chief bylaw officer.
The dog seriously bit four people in a home on Pickford Road around 12:30 a.m. Saturday after some of the people in the home became rowdy while playing video games.
