Vancouver Island man facing 70 charges for threatening and indecent calls

A Qualicum Beach man is facing 70 charges related to multiple threatening, harassing, and indecent phone and video calls made to women across British Columbia.
The RCMP says the calls, which occurred between November 2017 and April 2018, targeted mostly woman living in the Lower Mainland.
Police say they made an arrest on May 16 following “complex and technical investigation.”
