Vancouver considers 'scramble' intersections at 800 Robson plaza

Vancouver is again looking to do a trial run of “scramble” intersections where all vehicles come to a stop and pedestrians cross both diagonally and longitudinally during red lights.
Two proposed intersections for the crossings include Howe and Robson and Hornby and Robson, as part of a redesign plan for the plaza at 800 Robson Street, south of the current site of the Vancouver Art Gallery, according to an emailed statement from city staff.
