Vancouver asked to delay ban on styrofoam cups and plastic straws

City staff want Vancouver council to delay a city-wide ban on straws and foam cups until next year.
Vancouver city staff will present a report next week on the city’s single-use item reduction strategy, with a request to give small business a bit more time to find alternatives to plastic straws and styrofoam cups.
