Vancouver Aquarium treats lost python, reunites stuffed snake with Trail family
Vancouver Aquarium staff were surprised this week to discover a python stranded in the Amazon exhibit.
It was a curious discovery for two reasons: first, pythons are not native to the Amazon rainforest, where the giant snake to watch out for is the anaconda. Second, the python was stuffed — and not with small rodents or other typical snake prey, but cotton.
It was a toy snake.
