Tributes pour in for retired Abbotsford officer killed in collision

Tributes from across B.C.’s policing community poured in on Christmas Eve after a well-known and respected retired Abbotsford officer was identified as a victim in a Nanaimo car crash.
Prior to Shinder Kirk’s retirement, he worked with the Abbotsford Police Department as a media relations officer and with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit as a spokesman.
