TransLink introduces all-door boarding at Vancouver SkyTrain station

Metro Vancouver’s busiest SkyTrain station is about to get a bit easier to move around.
Starting Feb. 2, a new platform will open, allowing transit users to get on and off westbound Expo Line trains using the doors on both sides of the train.
It’s the first time there will be all-door boarding on SkyTrain, and it’s expected to reduce crowding on the platform and improve passenger flow at the station.
