Train derailment in New Westminster closes Front Street

Front Street in New Westminster is shut down this morning, after a CN freight train derailed.
There are no reports of injuries. It’s unclear what the train was carrying when six cars went off the track in the early morning hours Wednesday.
Shortly before 3 a.m. police said Front Street was closed between Columbia Street and Begbie Street because of a CN Rail incident.
