Town Talk: Fraser River salmon and two memorable rear-seat rides
REAR SEAT ONE: My only previous Cadillac ride through the Fraser Canyon was in a titanic 1950s Coupe de Ville with the driver and a front-seat buddy enjoying cigars and a mickey of rye. No stogies or booze were consumed during a recent rerun with a former Niagara Regional police officer — my brother Don — at the wheel. Nor, apart from the Cadillac nameplate, Dueck dealership sticker and the refined air, did our five-door XT5 SUV resemble that old two-door.
