Tougher rules for B.C. party buses begin Saturday

New tougher measures to protect minors on party buses in B.C. begin Saturday.
B.C. Minister of Transportation Claire Trevena said Friday that families have been waiting for stricter safety standards on party buses, and she is pleased they will be set up in time for the holiday season.
For any new bookings made after Dec. 1, operators will be required to obtain consent forms from parents and guardians before a minor can travel on a party bus.
