Toronto man dead after falling from waterfall in Golden Ears Park

A 21-year-old Toronto man is dead after being swept over a waterfall in Golden Ears Provincial Park.
The man, who was hiking in the park north of Maple Ridge on Monday evening, was reportedly overcome by the current in Gold Creek and was carried over of the falls with another man, a 21-year-old Abbotsford resident, who attempted to save him.Ridge Meadows RCMP say the Abbotsford man was found downstream with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
