Three men assaulted in Nanaimo home invasion during targeted attack

Police in Nanaimo are investigating after three men were assaulted during a home invasion in what police are calling a targeted attack.
Nanaimo RCMP were called to a home in the 600-block of Howard Avenue around 7 a.m. on Sunday for a break-in. It’s believed several suspects had broken into the home, assaulted the three men and fled.
The three victims, ranging in age from 23 to 47, all suffered various injuries and were taken to hospital. One man was hit with a bat in the head and the body
