Terry Fox 'long run': Tri-Cities students raise $38,000 for cancer research

Some 200 Tri-Cities students from 15 schools have raised nearly $38,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation in an event called Running Terry’s Money Home.
The so-called “Terry Fox long run” involved students running from school to school — covering a distance of up to 15.5 kilometres — picking up donations from about 2,000 students.
“Once you throw this kind of idea out there, you suddenly get people that want to be involved,” said Frank Pearse, principal at Se
