Suspect charged with mischief following three-day vandalism spree

A man has been arrested following a spree of vandalism in Coquitlam that saw buildings spray painted, vehicles scratched with keys and tires slashed.
The alleged vandalism took place over a period of three days between Jan. 24 to 26.
The suspect, a 37-year-old man, was arrested Jan. 26 and remains in custody. He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday and faces five counts of mischief under $5,000 and 15 counts of failing to comply with recognizance.
