Surrey's gang task force releases six recommendations to fight violent crime

Expanding programs for people looking to get out of gang life, helping at-risk children and their families, and implementing a bar watch program are among the recommendations made by a Surrey task force aimed at reducing gang violence.
Almost nine months after it was formed, the Mayors’ Task Force on Gang Violence Prevention released its final report on Tuesday.
