Surrey RCMP seeking dashboard camera video of suspect in assault

Surrey police are seeking possible dashboard camera footage of a person who hugged a woman from behind and tried to muffle her screams.
On Jan. 3 around 5:30 a.m., a woman in her 20s was walking in the 12500-block of 72 Avenue when a man came from behind and bear hugged her.
When the victim screamed, the man tried to cover her mouth with his hand. She then bit the man’s hand and was able to struggle out of his grip and run away.
