Surrey city hall reception area to get $250,000 renovation

Just four years after Surrey’s city hall was opened, the building’s lobby is getting a $250,000 upgrade.
The city has issued a request for quotations for the work, which will involve demolishing and relocating the reception and security desks.
It’s expected the renovations will begin on June 18 and should be complete by the end of September. The work will take place outside of business hours.
