Surrey bylaw staff remove signs protesting golf course development

City of Surrey bylaw officers have taken down five signs erected to protest a proposed development at Coyote Creek golf course in Fleetwood.
The removals happened on Saturday morning, two days before the proposal was expected to be introduced at a Surrey city council meeting.
“We were quite surprised they pulled that,” said Ken McBain, co-chair of the Coyote Creek Action Committee, which put up the signs.
